Winter watering gives your lawn and landscape plants a better chance of greening up in the spring.
Water one to two times per month at mid-day, from November to April, when the temperature is above 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
To water, use a hose-end sprinkler or watering wand and water slowly so it can soak in. Remove the hose from the spigot after watering to prevent freeze damage.
