We understand our ongoing fiber installation in your neighborhood has been a source of frustration and inconvenience, and we sincerely apologize for any disruptions it has caused you and your neighbors. Please know that we are committed to addressing these issues and improving the construction and restoration process moving forward.
While this project will bring significant benefits to our community, we recognize the importance of minimizing the impact on our customers during the installation process. Moving forward, we are implementing several key improvements to include working closely with contractors to streamline the construction process, providing timely communication around schedules, and prioritizing landscape restoration.
We will soon have local landscaping companies performing restoration work. In general, our priorities will be in the following order: fill any open holes, repair irrigation systems, restore grass and other landscape, and repair concrete.
Here is how you can help: To assist us in addressing any landscape damage caused by our fiber construction, we ask that you report issues you have encountered so we can work to schedule repairs. Please complete our dedicated intake form to let us know the types of restoration you require. If you would prefer to speak to one of our customer service representatives, please call us at (719) 448-4800.
Please note that multiple organizations are installing fiber in Colorado Springs, which may cause confusion about whether we are responsible for the installation in your neighborhood. A key identifier of our fiber construction work is that it will only take place in the front of your property - in the public right of way or utility easement.
If you are unsure of who installed fiber in front of your home, please complete our dedicated intake form on our website. We’ll quickly confirm if it was part of our project and let you know within three business days. If it was, we’ll add your property to our restoration system.
We appreciate your continued patience while we work to enhance our utility operations, allowing us to better serve our customers.
