RV Parking Guidelines

6/1/2022

Recreational Vehicles (RV’s) and/or sports equipment [example: Trailered Boats, Trailered All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV), etc.] shall be parked in a garage or off-site. RV’s and sports equipment may be temporarily parked in the driveway or in the street directly in front of the home for loading and unloading only over a short a period of time not to exceed 24 hours, and not to exceed 7 days per calendar year.

Keep Sidewalks Open for Use

6/1/2022

Please do not block any residential sidewalk with cars, RVs, trailers, trucks, visiting vehicles, etc. so pedestrians can navigate the neighborhood easily and safely. Many residents and visitors enjoy using the sidewalks daily and often have difficulties navigating around a sidewalk obstruction.  It can be dangerous if they are required to walk in the street and leave the safety of the sidewalk.

City Code prohibits the blocking of sidewalks.
10.12.101: STOPPING, STANDING OR PARKING IN SPECIFIED PLACES:
No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic, vehicular or pedestrian, or in compliance with directions of a police officer or traffic control device on a sidewalk or pedestrian walking area.

Tree Selection, Planting, and Care Guide

6/1/2022

Tree selection is one of the most important investment decisions a home owner makes when landscaping a new home or replacing a tree lost to damage or disease. Most trees can outlive the people who plant them, therefore the impact of this decision is one that can influence a lifetime. Matching the tree to the site is critical.

Take a look at Recommended Trees for Colorado Front Range Communities:
A Guide for Selecting, Planting, and Caring For Trees
to get some ideas.
