Wood Fence repairs are out for bid! The Association will be contracting for the repairs of wood fences that border some neighborhoods and several sidewalk pathways. As soon as a contractor is selected and weather permits, fence repairs will begin.
For some homeowners, fence repairs will mean their property will be "un-fenced" for a day or two; the contractor will attempt to put a temporary fence up during non-working hours, but special care will be required for escape-prone pets and children. If you have a broken post or a damaged section, it's probably on our list (the entire fence was examined).
Painting of new and weathered sections will follow the repairs, but wood cannot be painted immediately after installation (it needs to dry a bit, first).
Some homeowners have been "creative" in keeping their pets from digging under the fence. However, homeowners may not add attachments, barricades, wire fence, etc., on the outside of their yard. These additions will be removed.
Concerns about a specific fence section (or any other PCVA property concern) can be sent to PCVA.Grounds@gmail.com
