With Spring just around the corner, our trees and bushes will be blooming and being growing again. If you have any shrubbery or trees on your property that are physically touching fencing, stucco walls, or other PCVA property, please ensure that the shrubbery/trees are trimmed to avoid the contact. Tree contact with fencing and walls can damage the property, and the homeowner could be held financially responsible for any damage.
Good Morning Pine Creek Village Resident,
The landscape crew was delayed in their application of preemergent herbicide due to the snowy weather we have been experiencing the past 2 weeks. The Metco crew will be onsite today, 3/25, tomorrow, 3/26, and Monday 3/29 to take advantage of the nice weather and apply the preemergent in the common area mulch and rock beds. Please email us at PineCreek@ehammersmith.com if you have any questions. Sincerely, Hammersmith Colorado Springs Office on behalf of PINE CREEK VILLAGE ASSOCIATION (719) 389-0700 | eHammersmith.com Curious as to what the City Code of Ordinances allow and prohibit? codelibrary.amlegal.com/codes/coloradospringsco/latest/overview Homeowners are responsible to remove all storm debris and branches from damaged trees located on their personal property. Homeowners have a couple of good options:
(A) Take damaged branches to the Black Forest Slash located about a 10-15 minute drive from Pine Creek Village. See details at www.bfslash.org (B) Prepare for Waste Management pickup. Two methods are available: (1) Bundle limbs and branches in 4-foot lengths and tightly bound with string so that the WM personnel can lift the bundle without movement; or (2) Bag storm debris in black plastic bags and place curbside for Waste Management (WM) pickup. WM will pick up a maximum 5 bags for each homeowner in addition to the standard 96-gallon waste bin. Homeowners should use heavy duty 42-gallon black plastic bags available at local hardware stores. Waste Management WILL NOT be picking up trash/recycling Monday 3/15 per their webpage. Plan is to pick up on Tuesday 3/16
