How does trash and recycling work?
  • Our provider is Waste Management (WM)
  • Pine Creek's pick-up date is Monday (unless it is a holiday - and then it is Tuesday).  Check https://www.pcva.org/events.html
  • Please have your containers ready and at the curb by 6:00am (no earlier than 6pm night prior). Please store them by 8pm on service day.
  • Trash containers must be stored in a garage or concealed from view of neighboring streets and property.
  • Garbage service window is from 7am to 7pm - please ensure your bins are left out until pickup is complete.
  • Please remember to position your carts at least 3 feet from each other and any other objects, including fences, mailboxes, parked vehicles and other carts, so that Waste Management can service it safely. Be aware of overhead tree branches that may interfere with the truck's lifting arm.

what are some tips for preventing crime in my area?
Please be vigilant, keep your yard lights on at night, keep your vehicles locked, don't leave valuables in your vehicle and in sight of passers-by, close and lock your garage doors and house doors.

Contact Colorado Springs Police to report crimes or if you have questions, please call the non-emergency number, 719-444-7000. This number is staffed 24 hours a day, every day.

what are CC&R and bylaws
CC&Rs is real estate acronym which stands for Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions. CC&Rs variously regulate the usages and aesthetics of a neighborhood or development to a greater or lesser degree. The Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&R's) are the governing legal documents that set up the guidelines for the operation of PCVA as a non-profit corporation. The governing legal documents for the association may be viewed online at https://www.pcva.org/governing-documents.html

The bylaws for the Association are the written documents that guide the structure and operation of the HOA. The bylaws provide for the election of the Board of Directors, the responsibilities of the Board and the Associations residents. You can view the bylaws online at https://www.pcva.org/governing-documents.html
