Pine Creek Garden Club
Cheri Herber, the Co-Chair of the PCVA Grounds Committee, is putting together a "Garden Club" open to all Pine Creek residents. Recently Cheri attended the Peak to Prairie Landscape Symposium presented by Colorado Springs Utilities. This is an educational forum inspiring the communities of Southern Colorado to create appealing and enduring landscapes suitable for our soils, climate, and finite water resources. Cheri was truly inspired by the experience and wanted to share her experience by forming the Pine Creek Garden Club. Some of the activities planned for this season are the Horticultural Society plant sale, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo plant sale, and visits to the Gardens at Kendrick Lake and Denver Botanical Gardens. Also, Deb from Deb's Gardening has volunteered to do a class. So far the members are Cheri's neighbors Gail, Jean and Debra.
